Although I grew up in Chicago, I have
now spent more time away from the Windy City than when I lived
there. I have been told that I still have a Chicago accent
(whatever that means) and my two favorite football teams are the
Chicago Bears and whoever is playing against Green Bay!
Over the course of my Navy active duty career we
moved many times. Among other places, we spent a lot of time
living in Charleston, SC, Virginia Beach, VA, Annapolis, MD,
Monterey, CA and Newport, RI. Now we have lived in Mount
Airy, MD since 1997, and finally we can say we are putting down
some roots.
